LMU IEC Talk #2: "The transformative power of social scientists and humanists as entrepreneurs?"

Looking at business means looking at facts and figures, at analysis of markets or return of invest. „If you can´t measure, you can´t manage “– systematization, standardization and efficiency are the basics of running a business. What happens if we start to ask where these ideas are coming from, why they were so successful and how they did shape the way we think and perceive the world? What happens if we start to ask if this is the only possible way to look at economy, at the way we work and the way we live? Which perspectives can be opened up and what is the transformational potential of this perspectives? If you want to know how you can use your knowledge from social sciences and humanities as a transformational power in the economic sphere or if you want to be inspired how you can use this change of perspective to make a change as an entrepreneur, we would be very happy to welcome you and discuss with you in this session!

Besides she is lecturing at LMU Munich (Dep. of Anthropology) and Universiy of St. Gallen (Dep. Gender and Diversity).
